After over one year of his arrest and prosecution, an Ikeja Special Offences Court has convicted the embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, alias Baba Ijesha, of se**sually assaulting a 14-year-old minor.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in a two-hour judgement on Thursday, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment of a child, se**sual assault and attempted se**sual assault.
Taiwo, however, discharged and acquitted him of counts one and count six, which were: se**sual assault by penetration and attempted se**sual assault by penetration.
The actor was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment.
